Stunningly illustrated, this book is narrated by Mimi cat, who leads the reader on a journey through the fabulous world of forests. I love that having an actual narrator that is more than just a voice increases the connection of the reader with the book - and Mimi is just adorable! I also love that this book highlights so many sub-topics, making it easy for children with different interests to just choose what they’d like to learn about. This approach makes it a great choice for reluctant readers who love nature.

I loved how this book was presented and the layout. Short sections of text, with lots of colour, illustrations, and diagrams, make this book a real winner.
This would be a great book to share in a classroom, as well as exploring in a home education setting or simply as a book to enjoy with your children. There's so much to explore and learn, and this book encourages you to have fun doing it!
